Sonya Unwin is an artist and curator, with a studio at Collective Haunt Inc., in Norwood, South Australia.
Winner of the Adelaide Hills Landscape Arts Prize, 2021, Unwin’s practice focusses on the exploration of the landscape, incorporating studio time and ‘en plein air’ work.
She works directly and intuitively with colour and her paintings are created through strong compositional elements, the layering of paint and tonal play with light.
